Hendrick’s Gin creates Valentine’s Woocumber pack

Forgo the humdrum this Valentine's Day with a Woocumber pack from Hendrick’s Gin and Dan Murphy’s.

The pack contains a 700ml bottle of Hendrick’s gin, one long stemmed red rose , a gift card ... and a fresh cucumber.

Morgan Flanagan, Brand Ambassador of Hendrick’s Gin said: “This delightful pack expresses how Hendrick’s roisters in love and all of its out of the ordinary guises.

“Hendrick’s is best known for being oddly infused with Cucumber and Rose. Classically, roses have always signified eternal love and affection, and many of the 11 botanicals championed in this perfect gin orchestration, such as caraway, juniper berries and coriander seeds, have oozed romantic associations through the ages.”

Here are three whimsical Hendrick's concoctions for Valentine’s Day:

Hendrick’s Raspberry Royale

>> 20ml Hendrick's Gin

>> 5 fresh raspberries

>> 5ml rose syrup

>> Topped with champagne

Method: Shake Gin, raspberries and cordial. Fine strain into flute. Layer Champagne on top. Garnish with cucumber stick, rose petal and floating raspberry.

Orchard Kiss

>> 45ml Hendrick's Gin

>> 15ml Lemon Juice

>> Dash of vanilla extract

>> Topped with cloudy apple juice

Method: Add all ingredients to tall glass over ice. Stir briefly. Garnish with cucumber slice and rose petal

Cupids’ Arrow

>> 30ml Hendrick's Gin

>> 20ml Lemon Juice

>> 10ml White Cacao

>> Cucumber slices

>> Rose petals

>> Sparkling water 

Method: Pour all ingredients except sparkling in to glass – add 4 cucumber slices and some rose petals. Stir briefly. Fill glass with ice. Top with soda water. Garnish with a cucumber slice and rose petal
